SECTION 2 Information Collected
2.2. Registration. When you create an account with CBD, you provide us with information (including your name, email address, and password) that we use to offer you a personalized, relevant experience on CBD. The amount and type of information that CBD gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. Those who engage in financial transactions, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, CBD collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with CBD. CBD does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Services.
2.3. Profile Information. You can add details to your profile. A complete profile helps you be found by other people for opportunities. It also means we can show you relevant content.
2.4. Customer Service. When you contact CBD for help, we collect information to respond to your questions and better serve you.
2.5. Using CBD site and Applications. We collect information when you visit CBD or visit related websites.
2.7. Log Files, IP Addresses, and Information About Your Computer and Mobile Device. We collect information from the devices and networks you use to access Services. This information helps us to improve and secure our Services.
2.8. Aggregate Statistics. CBD may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, CBD may monitor the most popular blogs on the CBD site or use spam screened by our filters to help identify spam. CBD may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, CBD does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
2.9. Other. We are constantly innovating and improve our Services, which means we may create new ways to collect information on the Service.
SECTION 3 Uses & Sharing of Personal Information
3.2. CBD Communications. CBD communicates with you using chats, messaging, email, and other ways available to us. We may send you messages relating to your CBD account, the availability of the Services, or other Service issues. We also may send promotional messages to you.
3.3. User Communications. With certain communications you send on or through the Website, the recipient can see your name, email address, profile and other network information.
3.4. Customized Content. CBD may use the information you provide on your profile or websites to customize your experience on Website.
3.6. Sharing Information with Third Parties. Any information you put on your profile and any content you post on your own website or CBD’s Website may be seen by others. We don’t provide any of your non-public information (like your email address) to third parties without your consent, unless required by law, or as described in this Sections 3.6 and 3.11 of this Policy. Other people may find your CBD Member information through search engines.
3.7. Search. CBD helps you search for other athletes, advisors, groups, professionals or professional content.
3.8. Posted Information to Groups, Blogs, Comments, and Chats. You are responsible for any information you post on the Website, and this content will be accessible to others.
3.9. Testimonials and Advertisements Placed through CBD. If you provide testimonials about goods or services, or place an advertisement on the website, CBD may post these in connection with CBD’s own promotional materials.
3.10. Friends. We offer a service to other members which can be used to search for, organize, and communicate with you. You are also able to make friend connections with other CBD Members which will allow them access to your profile and the information you post.
3.11. Compliance with Legal Process and Other Disclosures. We may disclose your personal information if compelled by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if necessary to enforce our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 Your Choices & Obligations
4.1. Rights to Access, Correct, or Delete Your Information, and Closing Your Account. You can change your CBD Member information at any time by editing your profile, deleting content that you have posted, or by closing your account. You can also ask us for additional information we may have about your account. If you close your account, your information will generally be removed from the Website.
4.2. Data Retention. We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed. For example, we may keep certain information even after you close your account if it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce this Policy or the Terms of Service.
4.3. Your Obligations. Please respect the terms of our Terms of Service, our Policies, and your fellow CBD Members.
SECTION 5 Important Information
5.1. Minimum Age. You have to meet CBD’s minimum age requirements to create an account.
5.2. Stripe. We partner with Stripe as a method of payment and do not trade information with Stripe. Your account with Stripe is subject to the terms and conditions established by Stripe.
5.4. Sharing with Direct Marketers. We do not share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing.
